    The Quinn Ewers to Seattle connection - too strong to ignore?

    If you're hoping (maybe even praying?) that Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider FINALLY drafts a QB capable of perhaps one day taking over as the franchise signal-caller, this might be your year. While this QB draft class has taken it's lumps from cynics and critics alike, there are a number of prospects littered throughout the group that have starter upside. One of those is Texas' Quinn Ewers. Once a top prospect and widely-viewed as a potential first rounder, the shine wore off Ewers after an injury-filled and inconsistent 2024 campaign. But there are reasons to think Schneider has had his eye on Ewers for a long while, and could potentially choose him when the draft rolls around in late April... and today at the NFL scouting combine, news broke about Ewers that make the potential connection between the GM and the QB prospect even stronger.     Mock Draft Monday - "Trench Warfare" - What if the Seahawks drafted ONLY linemen?

    Now that the Super Bowl is behind us it's full speed ahead on the NFL offseason. The scouting combine is just around the corner, with free agency coming up right behind it. But for most teams and their fans, all eyes are focused on the NFL draft the last week of April.  Seeing how the Philadelphia Eagles manhandled the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, it's fair to ask how far the Seattle Seahawks may be in being able to dominate up front the way Philly did. Mike Macdonald himself has been preaching ever since he was hired a year ago that that's precisely the way he wants his teams in Seattle to play.  So for the sake of today's exercise on Mock Draft Monday, let's see how it looks if the Hawks were to draft ONLY linemen.  Join along and let me know what you think!
