Burrow: From Third-String Backup to NFL Star

Burrow: From Third-String Backup to NFL Star

In today's episode, I talk about Joe Burrow. Now the starting franchise quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals. His journey to the NFL is like no other, and it seems like he came out of nowhere when he led LSU to the college championship game. Some people called him a one-year wonder and didn't think his game would translate to the NFL when he declared for the draft. We follow his upbringing in Ohio and how his career has come full circle, from starting high school, committing to Ohio State University, and being drafted by his home state team. A story that seems out of a cliche Hollywood movie is Burrow's journey.

The Science Behind Music and Our Thoughts on the Current State of Music

The Science Behind Music and Our Thoughts on the Current State of Music

Hey everyone! My friend, Sammy Touati joins me today to discuss music. Music is something everyone listens to everyone has a different taste in music, one might like pop, jazz, classical, hip-hop, basically any genre or multiple genres. There's a lot behind why we might like the music that we listen to or we might turn to music to brighten up our mood whenever we're going through something. We talk about how music affects our mood specifically jazz, pop, and rap.
Sammy and I also talk about the current state of music (p.s. it's not that good), the music we listen to in our free time, and our favorite albums that have come out this year.

Inside the Life of a Lakers Content Creator (w/ Brayden Figueroa)

Brayden Figueroa joins us today to talk about his start in content creation, working with the University of Oregon, Los Angeles Lakers, and his advice to upcoming content creators. Brayden's content career started with making gym videos with friends, after endless amounts of time editing with little success at the start. Brayden took the time to learn and invest in how to improve his video production skills he later found himself working for the University of Oregon's marketing team. After graduating, he moved to Bali where his start-up content company took on different projects and his work started to gain traction from the Los Angeles Lakers. Moving back to LA, Brayden began shooting content for league games and is part of the Lakers social media team. Brayden also ends the episode by giving his biggest advice to upcoming creators who want to make content for teams or companies.
