How To Reduce The Speech Anxiety

How To Reduce The Speech Anxiety

You know some of the people really struggle when it comes to deliver a speech or presentation in front of the audience.
It means they get nervous before or during their delivery.
What do you think ?Is it ok to be nervous ?
I believe that It is very much ok to be nervous on your important days as you are going to perform on that day and you are going to present in front of the audience.
It is considered as Speech anxiety.
Experiencing speech anxiety is normal. Nearly everyone gets nervous when they have to give a speech or a presentation, even experienced speakers.
The speakers that look relaxed and confident have simply learned
how to handle their anxiety and use it to enhance their performance.
So here are Nine Ways to Help Reduce Speech or I should the Presentation Anxiety
    1st one is .
Accept that being nervous is not a bad thing.
Being nervous means you care about giving a good presentation.
Your nervousness produces adrenaline, which helps you think faster, speak more fluently, and add the needed enthusiasm to convey your message.
    2nd one is
    Don't try to be perfect.
The fear of public speaking often stems from a fear of imperfection. Accept the fact that no one ever gets it perfect and neither will you. Rather than striving to become a "super-speaker," just be yourself. "Your audience will appreciate it.

    3rd one is
    Know your subject matter.
One must "earn the right," to speak on a particular topic.
Become an authority on your topic and know more than most or all of the people in your audience. The more you know, the more confident you will be.
    4th one is
    Engage your audience.

Audience involvement is key. Ask your audience questions or
have them participate in an activity to hold their attention.
Turning your presentation from monologue to dialogue helps reduce your nervousness and engages the audience.5th One is Breathe. Breathing from your stomach muscles, not your chest,
    calms the nervous system.
Here's what to do: Take a few deep breaths before
and even during your presentation. "As you inhale," "say to yourself 'I am,' and as you exhale, say 'relaxed.'"
    6th one is
Visualize your success. Close your eyes and picture yourself delivering your talk with confidence andenthusiasm.
What does the room look like? What do the people look like? How do you look? "Picture your successful presentation in detail
and allow your mind to help turn your picture into a reality.
    7th one is
    Practice out loud.
The best way to reduce your anxiety is to rehearse until you feel comfortable. "Practicing by yourself is important, "but I urge you to also practice in front of a friend, colleague, or coach who will give you honest and constructive feedback."
    8th one is Avoid caffeine
Caffeinated drinks can increase your heart rate, make you jittery, and cause your hands to shake, which gives your audience the impression you're a nervous wreck.
9.th and the last one is
    Make eye contact.
Arriving early when the room is full of empty chairs and practicing by "pretending that you are looking into people's eyes."
When you begin your talk, pick a few friendly faces in different areas of the room. "Not only will the audience appreciate it, but also you will see that they are interested in your message.
Add a smile and you are bound to see some in return."

5 Job Interview Techniques That Actually Work

5 Job Interview Techniques That Actually Work

5 Tips for a Successful Interview
    1st Be on Time
This one might seem like a no-brainer, but it’s important to show up early to your interview. This shows that you’re reliable and takes some of the pressure off of you and the interviewer. Additionally, coming in late or not at all is a major red flag for employers.

A good rule of thumb is to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled interview. This will give you time to use the restroom, check your appearance and fill out any necessary paperwork.

2nd Be Prepared for Common Questions
While you can’t predict every question you’ll be asked, there are some common interview questions that you should be prepared to answer. These include questions like:

    “Tell me about yourself.”
“What are your strengths and weaknesses?”
“Why are you interested in this position?”
“Where do you see yourself in five years?”
Preparing for these questions ahead of time will help you to feel more confident and less flustered during the interview. Remember, potential employers are looking for qualities like confidence and poise, so it’s important to show them that you have those qualities.

3rd . Be Confident, but Not Arrogant
It’s important to come across as confident during your interview, but you don’t want to come across as arrogant. This is a fine line to walk, but a good way to think about it is that you want to be confident in your abilities without seeming like you think you’re better than the interviewer or the company.

Some body language cues that can help you project confidence are maintaining eye contact, sitting up straight, and having an open posture. This doesn’t mean that you should be stiff as a board, but you want to avoid crossing your arms or slouching in your chair.

    4th . Ask Questions
At the end of most interviews, you’ll be given a chance to ask questions. This is your opportunity to get more information about the company and the position and to show that you’re truly interested in the opportunity.

Many make the mistake of not taking advantage of this opportunity and sheepishly respond with “No, I think that’s all.” when asked if they have any questions. If you truly believe that the interview covered everything, you can ask questions about the next steps in the process or what the timeline looks like.
    5th Focus.
On your attributes, your transferable skills, and your willingness to learn; don’t apologize for a lack of experience; describe your strengths in terms of what you can do for the organization.
