The mix was at a live event in an old warehouse and is a throwback to old school 1990’s New York Underground Electronic Warehouse music that meets the sound of 2024. Including music by Rabbit in The Moon, Hardkiss, Hawke, Marsh, Christian Smith, Bedrock, Josh Wink, Joey Beltram, Elzace and dirtybird.4 decks were used constantly and this was one of the most complicated mixes I have ever peformed live. There was so much that could go wrong so quickly that it was a big risk to even attempt it at live event. It’s mixed for the sound of a warehouse so some tricks do not transfer over to a recording… but it is well worth sharing. Real Sessions 004 - For this episode there is a nice blend of amazing new music!. The mix starts off mello and builds throughout.. ending in an amazing track by Allies for Everyone called Hi - Low.. just released on the iconyc label. Real Sessions 003 - For this episode the tone is darker and a bit more eclectic. The mix starts with a track called Retro Active that has been released on the newly founded inturn recordings... and ends with another release called Forever Lost. In between there is quite a few fantastic songs including one by our long time friend and fantastic deep progressive producer Allies for Everyone.
