In this Episode we had our first ever special guest, Becca Gregory/Nash, who kindly joined us. It was also her first ever experience of tasting coffee! To wrap up season one, we thought it would be rude not to include a few extras to tide you all over till season two. Coffee master Dan found us some interesting coffee's, including a coffee digestif made with coffee from one of our favourite roasters, Clifton Coffee. On the beer front, we were treated to a host of festive beers that warmed our hearts and got us ready for the Christmas holiday. We hope that you've enjoyed listening to us ramble on about things we know little about and hope that you'll join us on our journey in season 2, when we hope to be a bit more sophisticated and organised in our comments and podcast practition. This weeks episode was hosted by Nash and James who didn’t search far and wide but instead looked a little closer to home to find some exciting local coffee and beer. We tasted some beaut brews and paid homage to businesses closer to home. Four amateurs have managed to string together and upload four episodes. We're in full swing now and we think we're getting the hang of this! Dan and Tayler have combined forces to present the table with some show-stopping beers and coffee from an array of roasters and breweries. We roll off the back of Tayler's birthday and enter this recording after cleaning coffee off Nash's new walls thanks to a home run swing from Dan. Henry Nash aka Nasher/Dennis the menace/Enrique was the host for this weeks episode. Having been in the industry the longest, Nasher certainly has a developed knowledge and passion for well crafted beer. Having joined our common workplace, Nash has taken up an interest in coffee, hoping to build an appreciation for its speciality and unique flavours. Listeners are lucky enough to discover Nash's first coffee purchase, coming from a brilliant roastery in East London. He then went on to showcase a selection of beers from the Beer Muscateer in Southsea, focusing on how can/bottle design can hinder or aid a brand. This week we handed the reigns to our resident dimwit, James. Although he may not know much about independent craft beers and coffee, he has been inspired to learn more, by taking home sample coffee's and tasting guest beers at our communal workspace. With his academic background in biology and environmental conservation, he was interested in finding out what kinds of beers and coffees offered sustainable/ethical options, and whether they can still offer a great taste. Experimenting with online delivery services, a couple of eye catching numbers were chucked in the basket to give us a bit of variety and a post credit beer! 

Welcome to Episode 001! 
This is the very start of our colourful exploration through the big wide world of craft beer and speciality coffee. We all work together, we work with coffee and we work with beer... but in the grand scheme of things we are very much amateurs. So join Dan, Tayler, James & Nash and learn with us as we taste our way through many a beverage.
Each episode we will taste one coffee and three beers, all selected by the chosen host of that episode. All drinks are kept secret from the others until the very moment of reveal.
