    217. The Danger Zone

    217. The Danger Zone

Have you ever felt like your business is on cruise control, where the excitement and motivation that once drove you have faded? This stage is what’s known as the "danger zone," and it’s a place many of us might find ourselves in without even realizing it.

The concept hit home for Kristen during a conversation with her fitness coach about her current state in her fitness journey. What became strikingly clear is that this danger zone is not just limited to fitness—it happens in business too.

Let’s look at a few highlights:
The danger zone is a point in your journey where you're no longer driven by pain but haven't yet established a new goal to chase. It’s human nature to avoid pain more than to chase desires Your business begins as a solution to this pain, but what happens when the pain is alleviated? Without a new goal, you risk entering the danger zone. Without the drive to move forward, complacency sets in. You might think there’s an endpoint where you’ve completed your journey, but the truth is, the work never truly ends. Understand that growth often comes with discomfort. Be willing to put yourself in situations that challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone. Every entrepreneur reaches a point where the journey feels mundane and less exciting. It's normal, but it’s also a signal that you need to push yourself further.
The danger zone is a reality for many business owners. It’s where you might feel tempted to relax and coast, but it’s also where you risk stagnation. Kristen encourages you to move out of the danger zone, find the motivation that will drive you to the next level, and achieve your goals. Don’t let complacency take hold.

    216. Buying Back In

    216. Buying Back In

Are you the person who's constantly looking back at what your business once was? Wishing for the days when making a sale felt effortless, when your warm market connections seemed to be enough? The truth is, things have changed.

In today’s episode Kristen delivers the hard truth about tapping into your cold market and asking the crucial question… are you still bought into this business, even knowing it's different, hard, and outside of your comfort zone?

Let’s look at a few highlights:
Wishing for the old business creates resistance to your now. If you compare the present day team and business to the past, we are in a different landscape. One of the significant shifts in network marketing is the transition from warm market messaging to cold market engagement. The people you once relied on—friends, family, acquaintances—might not be enough to sustain your business anymore. If your customer base isn't yielding the same revenue, it's a sign that you need new eyes on your products. It's not enough to show up only when you're desperate or feeling scarcity. True success comes from being consistent, no matter the circumstances. Buying back in means embracing the changes, adapting your strategies, and continually selling yourself on the value and potential of your business.   Let's be real: this isn't your old business anymore. The landscape has changed, and clinging to the past won't drive your success in the present. It's time to decide—are you in this business or not? Are you ready to stop making excuses, adapt to the new reality, and put in the work?

The future of your business depends on your ability to evolve. It's time to stop dwelling on what used to be and start building what can be. Get out of your comfort zone, engage with the cold market, and commit to your business.

    214. The Stickiness Problem

    214. The Stickiness Problem

Have you ever had someone join your team, only to quickly realize that this business model wasn’t for them? Kristen has been noticing a significant issue: the stickiness problem. This has become a common theme in the social selling industry. But why do so many people come in and exit just as quickly?

In today’s episode Kristen dives into the reasons behind this problem and explores ten strategies to improve retention and help your team members stick around.

Let’s look at a few highlights:
Stickiness refers to the ability to retain new team members effectively. It’s about how many people join your team and how many actually stay and thrive. Kristen emphasizes that addressing these issues requires strategic changes in how leaders bring people onto their teams and support them once they join Consider what shifts you need to make in your approach to help people stick to your team. What questions can you ask during the vetting process? How can you better support new members in their initial days How can you work with new team members to adjust their expectations and recognize smaller, incremental successes rather than expecting immediate, large wins?
Not everyone is cut out for social selling, and it's crucial to differentiate between those who are serious about the opportunity and those who are merely wishful thinkers.

Remember, it's your team too. There is work you have to do to keep the "right" team members. Reflect on these points and consider the shifts you need to make to ensure you're attracting and retaining the best people for your team. What questions can you ask to ensure you're bringing in the right people and setting them up for success? The success of your team starts with your leadership and the standards you set.

    213. 2AM Thoughts: The Truth About Business

In today’s episode, Kristen is sharing her literal 2am thoughts that couldn’t wait until the morning. These thoughts stem from recent conversations and a growing frustration with the smoke screens we encounter daily on social media about business.

It’s easy to get caught up in the glamorous look of entrepreneurship—the posts promising effortless passive income and ultimate time freedom. But these visions are grossly exaggerated. They present an incomplete picture of what success in the online business space actually looks like. People are falling prey to these promises, naively stepping into spaces without understanding the pain and frustration they might face.

Kristen is here to tell the radical uncomfortable truth about business. The reality is, the hard parts of business have been minimized in the narratives we’re fed.

Let’s look at a few highlights:
People are quitting too soon because they believe there’s an easier path elsewhere. But the truth is, there is no “easier” when you aim to achieve big and impactful things in business. So, next time you’re scrolling through social media and see those posts about effortless success, remember this: the true path to success is paved with persistence, resilience, and a whole lot of grit. Let’s stop running from the pain and start recognizing it for what it truly is.

    212. Avoiding the Summer Slump

    212. Avoiding the Summer Slump

As the temperatures rise and summer sets in, many business owners find themselves tempted to hit the pause button on their business. Kristen's heard it time and again "summer is crazy, and I have to slow down my business." With vacations, kids home and outdoor activities, it's easy to see why entrepreneurs might want to slow down. But here's the truth: your present actions will shape your future results.
In today's episode, Kristen delivers an important message. Slowing down during the summer months can have lasting repercussions on your business pipeline and long-term growth.
Let’s look at a few highlights:
The mistake many business owners make is failing to grasp the connection between present actions and future outcomes.  Your audience relies on you to be reliable and present. By staying the course, remaining consistent, and actively engaging with your audience, you lay the groundwork for long-term success.  Building a sustainable business means working diligently in every season, not just when it's convenient.
If you've convinced yourself that summer isn't the time for business growth, it's time to rethink your strategy. Don't sell yourself short by taking your foot off the gas pedal when the weather gets warmer. Instead, embrace the season as an opportunity to build, nurture, and thrive.
So, don't hit pause. Keep pushing forward, and you'll reap the rewards in the months to come.
