It's been a while since the passing of Akira Toriyama and in all honesty it has taken a while for us to gather all of our thoughts in a way that we feel is presentable. So this week, for our listeners out there, join the boys as they celebrate the life and works of Akira Toriyama.

First of all, the news of Akira Toriyama's passing hit us all out of nowhere and hard so there will be a memorial episode coming out soon. With that aside, this week join the boys as they review their picks from the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, discuss their thoughts on the show's changes over the years, and speak on the environment that the anime community currently is in that might have led to some surprise wins or predictable sweeps. 2024's release schedule has been on a monthly basis thus far, and we're working to change that, but in the meantime the boys have been busy.
