Together: Seized by Christ, Running the Race of Faith
Philippians 3:12-21 | Seized by Christ
In this sermon, Pastor Joel explores the powerful transformation of Paul, who was seized by Christ and driven to run the race of faith. Paul's journey, rooted in Philippians 3:12-21, inspires believers to press on towards the upward call of God, leaving behind our past and striving towards spiritual maturity. We learn to see ourselves through the lens of Jesus, embrace unity, and follow the example of those who walk in faith. Our citizenship is in heaven, and our true prize is found in Jesus Christ.

Together: Having the Mind of Christ
Philippians 2:19-30 | Having the Mind of Christ
Do you have the mind of Christ? Are you living a life that is worth emulating? In this message, Pastor Luke Bilberry explains the examples of spiritual leadership from Timothy, and Epaphroditus in Philippians 2:19-30. Pastor Luke elaborates on the characteristics of having the mind of Christ. By being genuinely concerned for others, seeing people as God sees them, and not seeking our own interests, we can take steps towards living a life worth emulating.

Together: Living Out Our Salvation
Philippians 2:12-18 | Together in Community
In Philippians 2, Paul encourages believers to continue diligently pursuing a Christ-centered life by holding fast to the Word and emphasizing that authentic salvation leads to active faith. Pastor Joel explores what it means to "work out your salvation with fear and trembling," understanding that this is not about earning salvation through works but about allowing God's transformative work to change our hearts and minds. Are you shining bright for Jesus?

Together: Denying Self to Serve Others
Philippians 2:1-11 | Do Nothing From Selfish Ambition
As followers of Jesus, we are called to serve with a heart and mind like Jesus. In order to give us the ability to do so, Jesus came not to tweak areas of our life, but make us completely new. What does it look like to empty ourselves for the sake of others? In this sermon, Pastor Joel Wayne explains how Jesus came not to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many. He gave up his life, surrendered his reputation, and suffered for us so we could do the same.

We respond to Jesus by...
1) Declaring Jesus as Lord
2) Bowing before Jesus as Lord
3) Confessing Jesus before others
4) Giving Jesus all the glory
"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourself." - Philippians 2:3-4

Together: Setting Aside Self for Kingdom Purposes
Philippians 1:12-18 | Partnering Together
Hardship provides opportunity. In hardship, it was apparent Paul wasn’t a normal prisoner but a witness of Jesus. Because of Paul's endurance, many of the guards came to know Jesus and believers were strengthened. Paul didn’t need everything to be easy and set in order to be fruitful. Where are you finding courage in difficulty? How are you partnering with Jesus in his Kingdom work?
This Sunday, we welcomed pastors from the Chapel Pointe Family of Churches. The Chapel Pointe Family of Churches is a committed, collaborative group of churches choosing a path of interdependence to advance the gospel together. Through shared initiatives, people, and finances, this group of like-hearted and like-minded churches will pursue Kingdom Expansion for the sake of the gospel. To learn more, visit chapel-pointe.org
