In A Good Place with Ruth Langsford In A Good Place

    • Mental Health

Rosie's guest this week on In A Good Place podcast is TV legend, Ruth Langsford. Ruth has been on our screens on popular daytime shows from This Morning to Loose Women for over 30 years. A HELLO! favourite, Rosie has been lucky enough to work with Ruth many times, most notably in 2010 when she married Eamonn Holmes in a star-studded, beautiful ceremony on a hot summer's day in Hampshire.

She and Eamonn have been together for 26 years and she’s mum to their son Jack, who has finished university and lives in Manchester. Midlife has been a time of reinvention and success for Ruth, she is the face and brains behind a highly successful fashion range for QVC, she hosted a live fashion, beauty, and lifestyle event Feeling Fabulous last year and seems on fire at the age of 63. There have been challenging times too and Ruth is a committed Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society after her father Dennis passed away in 2012 from complications caused by Alzheimer’s. Ruth’s mum, Joan, 91, also has the disease and we discuss what she learnt from her dad’s experience that is helping her care for her mum, with whom she is really close.
