EPISODE 42 - Clark and Hyung chat with William Chong, owner of Dolly's Toys and Games in Toronto, Canada, on his experience running a hobby shop and what's changed over the years in the hobby. He also shared one thing he would change about the sports card industry as well as what insights he's gained about the state of the hobby from his recent trip to the Topps Industry Conference – the first with Fanatics taking over the iconic brand.

But off the top, Clark and Hyung discuss the launch of Fanatic's zerocool trading card company that primarily focuses on entertainment and pop culture.

And after the interview with William, the guys run through a list of upcoming hobby box releases and play "Rip or Flop" where they indicate if the new release is worth ripping or not. The new sets being released this month include 2022 Topps Opening Day Baseball; 2021 Topps Chrome Formula 1; 2021-22 Panini Prizm Premier League Soccer; 2021 Panini Contenders Football; and 2022 Leaf Vibrance.

They end the show with the regular weekly segment, Pick One – Hot Takes Edition, where Clark and Hyung each give two hobby hot takes and debate which is likelier to happen. The Pick One pairs for this episode include: PSA 10 loses steam over the year vs. SGC becomes backlogged and becomes PSA 2.0 over the year; Celebrity Trading Cards will see six-figure sales over the year vs. Digital NFT trading cards will see six-figure sales over the year.
