2020 has been busy for ANJL. She's dropped 3 singles so far, "I've Been," "Quarantine Queen," and "Get It On," which features Malli. Like all great R&B, her music can sound like love songs written with a broken heart, and it can also sound like a strong, independent woman who can't be told what to do. Your Culture Vulture sits down with My Favorite Color, LA-based rapper who recently signed to Rostrum Records and dropped his first single "Funeral". His music is purely representative of who he is and how he's feeling in that moment. "It could sound like 'I could fuck your bitch' one minute, and 'Funeral' the next."
