    Ace's and Tie-Breakers ft. Rajneesh & Siddharth

    We're back with a smashing conversation with two talented and hard working chaps who've played state, national and international tournaments. SJCC has seen what they do on the court but on this special we understand what makes them tick off it. The Blue and white bees present Siddharth and Rajneesh from the Tennis team.

    As most people can relate, their introduction to the game came in their early days through joining the academy, for which they thank their parents. Both of them discuss about the factors that made them commit to tennis before trying their hand at various other sports and the importance of understanding ones body. As we rally on they reminisce on their journey at Joseph's and how the value of sports has swayed them from joining a certain other city college. 

    Rajneesh recalls his most embarrassing, thrilling matches and moments on the court which is nothing short of a fairy tale while Siddharth talks about the SSN tournament and how every athlete in SJCC looks forward to this highlight.

    The hosts take on Rajneesh and Siddharth for a game of rapid fire doubles where they talk about pre game rituals and what makes one throw a racket. Onto the match point, the episode comes to an end by idolizing role models and confirming rumor's. The tennis duo seals it while serving us with their brilliant take on sports and life.

Tune in as Diya and Tanya talk about how a summer hobby turned into such a big part of their lives. The girls connect with our host, Rajvi and Avyukth as they catch up on long overdue team gossip and re-live cherished moments. Diya shares her experience over the season from initial disappointment to feeling overwhelmed and hungry for more as Tanya gives us a glimpse of how intense training gets during tournaments. 

    From laughing about embarrassing stories to talking about their idols and fears, the girls also talk about their teachers.     The Blue And White Bees proudly present Indian Badminton player and Olympian Ashwini Ponnappa!

    On this special Ashwini highlights the effective combination of hard work and admiration of the craft while recalling school days, experience with other sports before committing to badminton and offers advice to college athletes looking to balance academics and sports.

    Talking about the impact of the lockdown she shares how an Olympian made use of this time to reflect, learn and improve. She emphasizes the significance of physical activities in keeping fit, not only physically but also mentally. For someone who is always on the move, she welcomes time at home with loved ones as a breather from the hectic world.

    Loses are part and parcel of any game, Ashwini gives us valuable views on how to deal with them as she gives us a glimpse of what she keeps her head up. Speaking about the mindset, she gives us a glimpse of the atmosphere at the Olympics and the impactful experience of reppin' the tri color among the best across the globe.

    The episode ends with a smashing bit of advice about social media and accepting criticism.

    On the third episode beyond the field, tables are turned as our hosts are in the spotlight sharing their individual experiences of their sporting journey. Starting off alone, nervous and intimidated at the selections to feeling confident and strong alongside their team mates, they give a picture of the very magnitude of the selections and the people behind it.
    They speak about the size of the campus and how it effects sports in SJCC. Joking about practice rituals and team mates beyond the sport they talk about how the even semester made them forget about a classroom.
    Finally, they recall on the importance of the induction ceremony where each sportsman realizes the value of the badge they are soon to represent.

    The Final Half

    On his final half Ayush Panchamiya, he shares the experience of working with the one and only Asha Ma'am and privileges of a sportsman in SJCC. Nostalgia enters the field as recalls the joy of playing on the streets and the dread of a PTM after which he takes a shot at modern approach to education. He gives an important outlook on the flagship Spiel Run, the selections of sports teams and gives us a glimpse of his goals. He tells us about his future plans and how he's working towards it.
    Treating us with some exclusive Panchu philosophy he presses on the importance of maintaining a mental state of well being.
    Moving into added time he sums up what the football team meant to him and relationships after the final whistle.

    Everyday Is Game Day!

    To kick things off we have the former Sports Secretary of SJCC, Ayush Panchamiya. Recalling his schooling which developed his character, he takes you to the start of his career in blue and white.
    Talking about selections and his best game, he reminisces on the Josephite spirit that welcomed a disciplined kid from a boarding school. He also reveals some inside dressing room banter and his take on senior - junior relationships within the team.
    Being a part of the attack he's no stranger to rapid fire, but he ends this episode on an unfamiliar receiving end.
