Oh yeah, we also talk about our guy, Urban Meyer and the hangover he’s dealing with. Is Urban having thoughts of Southern California? We tried to ask him but he was focused on “other things” if you know what we mean! That being said, we are back and hopefully better than ever!

Here on the Bleacher Boys Podcast we can follow the norm and have a bunch of guys talk about the upcoming NFL season. They’ll throw in their own opinions, predictions, and whatever else. On October 10, 2017 the United States needed only a draw against Trinidad & Tobago to qualify for the 2018 World Cup. It ended in a humiliating 2-1 defeat, marking the first time since 1986, that there would be no U.S. presence at the World Cup. At that time the USMNT was in disarray, in Taylor Twellman’s words, “What are we doing!?” That dreaded day back in 2017 inspired the U.S. Soccer Federation and now head Gregg Berhalter to build a new culture in the program and so far the early returns are encouraging. When I started the Podcast earlier this year, I checked the calendar to look up certain anniversaries. In my research, I saw that A LOT of events happened in sports 25 years ago. Then I remembered a significant event occurring in the Sports Entertainment World during the Summer of 1996. In my opinion, and in the opinion of a lot of people out there; this particular event turned the Wrestling World upside down at WCW’s Bash at the Beach 1996. That being said, I knew that I wanted to cover it on the Podcast, BUT, I wanted to make it special. One person came to mind to join me on this, so I took to social media and sent a DM; to my surprise I got a response! This past week, the one and only, Mando Medina joined me at the Union Draft House to talk about THE GREATEST TURN IN HISTORY, which was the birth of the nWo!
