F-Around Friday! Mike Richards & "The Shift," Stay-or-Go Summer 2026 Edition
It's another F-Around Friday, and today we're talking about the anniversary of "The Shift" 13 years ago today, some new articles from Charlie, and a round of stay-or-go.
One of the biggest questions surrounding the Flyers is when they plan on turning the corner and how: the cap situation is a little daunting but somewhat manageable, but the Flyers really aren't able to go guns ablaze mode until 2026-27.
JP and Charlie break down who may be around on the roster at the point, and how the Flyers can manage their cap space and roster in the coming years.

Philadelphia Flyers NHL Draft Preview: Zeev Buium, Carter Yakemchuk and the Defense Prospects
It’s D-Day! As the march towards next month’s NHL Entry Draft continues, we’re breaking down the defensemen on today’s show.
Cam York and Travis Sanheim both had breakout seasons for the Flyers, while Jamie Drysdale, Emil Andrae and others still have the shine of promise and potential. But there are no #1 defensemen on Philly’s current roster, and the 2024 draft has a lot of high-end D prospects.
Charlie & Bill discuss which blueliners might be available for the Flyers at 12, as well as with the other three (maybe) top-51 picks.

Philadelphia Flyers NHL Draft Preview: Macklin Celebrini, Berkly Catton and the Center Prospects
Let’s get into the 2024 NHL Entry Draft! On today’s show, Charlie and Bill are beginning the draft process. The Philadelphia Flyers will draft 12th in the first round, as well as have one of the final four picks in the first round as well, as a result of the Florida Panthers reaching the conference final.
Philly may have a pair of second round picks as well, a compensatory pick (#51) as a result of not signing Jay O’Brien, and potentially #36 from Columbus, but the Blue Jackets have until the end of the first round to let the Flyers know if they’re surrendering this year’s or next year’s second rounder.
With a possible 4 picks in the top 51, Philadelphia has a chance to fill a ton of roster holes, and there isn’t a bigger hole than at center. Today, Charlie & Bill are breaking down the center prospects the Flyers may have their eye on.
