Iowa Hawkeyes LB Jay Higgins wraps up the tackle title for the 23’ season with a 16 tackles 14 solo performance vs Tennessee in the Citrus Bowl
Alabama HC Nick Saban retires with a career record of 292-71-1 and 7 National Championships (Six - Alabama / 1 LSU). His record at Alabama was 201-29 with a 117-18 in the SEC.
Since Saban’s retirement 27 players have entered the portal, including superstar SAF Caleb Downs, who has since transferred to Ohio State. They have also taken a huge hit on the recruiting trail as well, as several recruits have decommitted.
Alabama hired Kalen Deboer formerly of Washington, to be their new HC
San Jose State hired Ken Nuimatalolo formerly of Navy to be their new HC
