J Leonard Costner joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in basketball and eventually his writing career!



J grew up watching his dad play basketball throughout Europe, learning from some of the best to play! He and his brother started to play high-level AAU and eventually both went on to play Division 1 basketball.



After being injured for multiple years during college, J was able to work out for NBA teams and make his way into the G League, but more injuries derailed his career.



While laid up, he was able to take his artistic abilities to the next level and write his first novel, "Legacy."



Since J has released 2 more books in the series with more on the way and maybe even something on the screen!
