We are two friends raised on (and arguably, by) Bollywood. After a decade of talking about doing this--first in classrooms and tea shops, and then, separated by continents, over video calls--we're finally starting to put together our constant conversations about Bollywood into the form of a weekly podcast, "Jolly Good Bollywood--Members Only."
N.B.: We owe the first part of our name to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Dir. Karan Johar, 2016) and the second part from Fight Club--Members Only (Dir. Vikram Chopra, 2006), which should tell you more about us than anything else.

Episode 7 - Lost and Found
We are back with our new episode on 'lost and found' films. We take a tour through the history of films about families separated and reunited, discuss sub-genres like that of the star crossed lovers films, twin-separated-at-birth films, rebirth films, imposter films etc. What's your favorite film about people who are lost and found?

Episode 3 - Stalking In Bollywood
We are back this week in a longish episode on a subject that is not quite "jolly good" but which we have really wanted to speak about and shed light upon: the portrayal of stalking and harassment in Bollywood films through the ages, and the dangerous narrative they create in reel and real lives. As always, we have tried to map a history of the depiction of stalking on-screen, and have tried to discuss the repercussions these have in terms of normalizing such behavior. We end with a simple demand: it's 2020, let us first acknowledge the problematic behavior of characters as such, and then let's do better.
