This episode continues the conversation about suffering. We discuss salvation, the process of sanctification, and the benefits/advantages of walking in righteousness. Walking in righteousness does not mean that everything will be easy. But it does provide us with a covering and confidence that the Word of God says will bring peace and joy. In this episode we look at one of the many benefits of suffering. Jesus also gives clear instruction on how to proceed when we’re experiencing pain & suffering. We look at Matthew 26 to explore the demonstration of suffering in the Spirit that Jesus displayed.

When our Heavenly Father makes promises, our flesh battles with our faith by suggesting that barriers or challenges to God's promises being fulfilled are stronger than His promise, protection, provisions. Numbers 14:33-34 shows God's response to lack of faith and loyalty by the Israelites. In this episode of the MarcMyWord Prayer Podcast, we unpack the story of the Israelites when God's promise is delayed by their faithlessness. I pray that this episode blesses you to see that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us and choosing not is detrimental to our relationship with Him. 

God requires obedience in order for us to be in His presence. We want God to answer our prayers but sometimes struggle with the necessary process of our prayers getting answered. Sometimes we avoid the direction that God is pushing us into. Our faith is most likely missing a few ingredients. My prayer is that unpacking a snapshot of Moses' story, and the revelation that God provided me, will help us to assume a greater level of faith and obedience.
