respectfulchild
Listen to respecfulchild here: https://respectfulchild.bandcamp.com/album/re-new
?? re:new draws a parallel with the body of the violin and respectfulchild’s own body, with their classical music training becoming a direct metaphor for the gender binary that has been forced on them since birth. Both of these things have had a profound influence on respectfulchild’s relationship to music and to society, but both were taught to them in ways without their choosing. This album gives them space to interrogate these things and ultimately determine what they choose to keep and what they choose to let go of. -

Garret T. Willie

About Garret:
Garret T. Willie is an old soul masquerading as an uncommonly wise, weathered, witty and world-weary 23-year-old. He's about to give rock 'n' roll a formidable 21st -century kick in the ass with plenty of wild, heartbreaking, and hilarious stories to share in true rock 'n' roll form.
Garret T. Willie hails from Kingcome Inlet, off the coast of British Columbia. He’s been through some serious shit and lived through a lot more than most of us have at his age. But while Willie’s back story also gives him more right than most to sing the blues – and at heart, Garret T. Willie is a rock ‘n’ roller – he’d rather that not be the whole story. -
