Dr. Skiba, also known as Dr. Fraud ®, is an international expert in financial crime, cybercrime, and professional development (academic, public, and private sector) and is referred to as one of the top crime fighters in the world. He worked for two corporations for 25 years in special investigations and management and now owns his own international company focusing on consulting, training, and speaking on financial crime, cybercrime and professional development. He has worked on hundreds of projects across the globe, including Malaysia, Argentina, Singapore, Mexico, Germany, USA, and the Nordics He has performed at over 500 public speaking events including keynoting, emceeing, moderating, and hosting. He has also been a university professor for 15 years and is currently Department Chair of Criminal Justice at Colorado State University Global. He holds an MBA and a PhD with a financial crime focus and governments, corporations, and colleges from around the world regularly call upon him to consult, train, and assist with financial crime, cybercrime, and professional development topics and strategies.



He also founded and manages Dr. Fraud Training Group, which offers fully online classes in financial crime. He is sought after as a media contributor that can be seen in many outlets including NBC, ABC, London Telegraph, and SiriusXM radio. He is an instructor for the U.S. ATF and a member of the Academic Council of the United Nations System. He is an accomplished author and recently published a book entitled “The Psychology of Fraud” and the host of DFTV-Dr Fraud TV, a show dedicated to investigating scams and fraud around the globe.

However there is little known movement known as the YIMBY's and it stands for Yes In MY Backyard. Stanley Roberts talks with one of the first people involved with that movement Jon Schwark



Jon Schwark moved to the Bay Area from Kansas City in 1998, during the DotCom boom, and was shocked by the housing prices. The run up in prices during the second (third?) tech boom led him to become an early volunteer in the YIMBY pro-housing movement in 2015. Jon works as a video editor and motion graphic designer. He’s also spent time as a performance and installation artist, underground event producer, and father.  His current passion is growing succulent plants on his window ledge at home in downtown San Francisco.

Stanley Roberts talks one-on-one with Sheriff Gregory Ahern from Alameda County Sheriff's Office about the uptick in violence in Alameda County.  



Gregory Ahern was born September 1957 in Oakland, California. A lifelong resident of Alameda County, he graduated from Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward in 1975. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary's College in Moraga. Sheriff Ahern was hired as a Deputy Sheriff in 1980, was promoted to Sergeant in 1986, promoted to Lieutenant in 2000, promoted to Captain in 2003, promoted to Commander in 2005, and promoted to Assistant Sheriff in 2006. On June 6, 2006, Gregory J. Ahern was elected Sheriff and became the 22nd Sheriff of Alameda County on January 8, 2007.



Sheriff Ahern has been actively involved in the development and implementation of a number of programs which have proven to be highly beneficial to the citizens of Alameda County, including the Youth and Family Services Bureau, Drug Education and Enforcement programs, Cold Case DNA Unit, D.U.I. Enforcement Unit, and coordinator of the Strategic Planning process for the future health of the organization. Sheriff Ahern also initiated the Urban Shield tactical training exercise that provides a training venue to several thousand first responders each year. The focus is to test the skills, tactics and equipment of the participating tactical teams, as well as first responders' regional ability to coordinate and sustain law enforcement, medical, and emergency services in the event of a large-scale terrorist attack or natural disaster.

Stanley Roberts talks to Dr. Adrian McIntyre a cultural anthropologist, media personality, keynote speaker, and executive storytelling coach. His on-air broadcasting experience began at the age of five as a co-host of “The Happy Day Express,” the longest-running Children’s radio program in California history. He has lived and worked in over 30 countries, given hundreds of live media interviews, delivered over 1500 stage presentations, and written two speeches that were presented to members of the United Nations Security Council. Adrian spent much of his 20s and early 30s working in the Middle East and Africa as a researcher, journalist, communication strategist, and media spokesperson. He reported for Newsweek during the run-up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003, then worked in Baghdad as a member of the crisis response teams for Mercy Corps and Oxfam. When extreme violence forced international aid agencies to withdraw their staff from Iraq, Adrian moved to Sudan to work as a media officer and policy adviser for Oxfam, one of the largest humanitarian relief agencies in the world. For 14 months, he was Oxfam’s primary, field-based spokesperson on the crisis in Darfur, helping to make that conflict the biggest news story of 2004. His hundreds of media appearances reached millions of people via major news outlets such as the BBC, CNN, National Public Radio, FOX News Online, and the New York Times, as well as regional newspapers and radio stations throughout North America and Europe.

As an academic, Adrian studied and collaborated with leading thinkers in philosophy, linguistics, social science, and international affairs. He earned an MA in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas at Austin and a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Fulbright scholar and National Science Foundation research fellow. He remained at Berkeley as an adjunct professor until 2012, when he left academia to teach and train in the private sector and online.

Adrian’s expertise in storytelling, cross-cultural communication, and leadership development has made him an in-demand speaker, trainer, executive coach, and organizational consultant.
