Getting ready for a Summer adventure? By mid-May many of us are looking forward to some kind of experience about to come. In this podcast we begin our first summer series called "Road Trip." The spiritual life is an adventure for sure, so what clues can we take from a road trip to inform our faith life? We begin this week with "Hit the Road"

In the words of Pope John Paul II, "‘without hope, there is no faith." Hope serves as the bedrock of our faith, enabling us to navigate life’s toughest trials and continue moving forward each day.But how do we nurture and sustain hope? That’s the question we’ll delve into during this podcast.

In the Gospel of John Jesus makes a number of statements about his identity.  "I am the bread of life." "I am the light of the world." "I am the good shepherd."  All of them tell us something different about who he is.  In this podcast, we reach the last of these statements, and there is something different about this one.  It is the only "I am" statement followed by "you are." Join us as we reflect on how Jesus' identity and ours are connected and how in him we find true life.

Perhaps Psalm 23 is a universally known and beloved Psalm that reminds us about the ways in which God watches over us. The Gospel Lesson reminds us that Jesus told us that he is our Good Shepherd. What does that mean for us? Join us in this podcast as we explore the trust we can place in Jesus.
