In this episode I sat down with Author Massoud Doktoran who is based out of my 'hometown' Cologne, Germany. We discussed his new book 'Brenn Schule, Brenn!', which talks about German School systems and the consequences of dividing children into different 'intelligence' brackets in said system. I've never read a book like this one, the protagonist being a so called foreigner dealing with racism and other identity issues growing up in Germany, written in an authentic tone, in a language that is reflective of real life. I am so happy to be able to share this episode with you and think that a lot of us can relate and feel represented here.
