Dr Griffith reflects on the importance of the inclusion of concepts of manhood, trustworthiness, intersectionality, and individual tailoring that can be incorporated into community-based and policy strategies to promote health and well-being, particularly for African American men.

We discuss the results of the RIGHTS (Research on Immigrant Health and State Policy) Study that show the experiences of immigrants in the areas of health care, social services, employment, education, and law enforcement and how these experiences have had an impact on their health and access to health care.
