Overwhelmed and Over It: Embrace Your Power to Stay Centered and Sustained in a Chaotic World is a call and an invitation to women around the world to free themselves from the self-sacrifice and burnout that far too often runs their lives.

"Patients' Rights Advocates"
Hospital Patients are getting slammed with huge bills for COVID19 Testing and Treatment
Show Guest: Cynthia Fisher
The coronavirus has amplified our need to have real-time, complete access to our electronic health information as use of telemedicine increases. But for telemedicine to work best, especially during the telemedicine, patients and their physicians need easy access to patients’ complete medical information. With access to entire electronic health records on their smartphones, patients can share their records with physicians, caregivers, and family members anywhere at any time.
According to Cynthia Fisher, founder and president of Patients’ Rights Advocates, this is our moment in time, where we are at a crossroads where we either deliver to America a free market, or Medicare for all. As lawmakers call for a fourth coronavirus relief bill, Congress has an opportunity to cement rules that 91 percent of Americans want – ones that will make complete price transparency the law. Requiring hospitals and insurers to reveal their cash and secret negotiated prices will not only empower patients by putting them in charge, but will also help employers and workers.
A Phase IV stimulus package is in the works. It is our hope that this time Congress will listen to what 91 percent of Americans want, despite how much money they get paid to vote otherwise.

"Thriving Not Surviving"
Thriving Not Surviving – The Five Secret Pathways To Happiness, Success and Fulfillment
SHOW GUEST: Gina Gardner
Gina Gardner believes that disability can be a metaphor for life. Our limiting beliefs: I’m not worthy, not clever enough, I’m too old, too poor, not beautiful enough, etc. keep us stuck. I may have challenges with my mobility but I have the capacity to wheel away (usually at high speed) in my wheelchair.
I have learned that it is not the challenges that define us but what we do with them. Over the years it has become very clear when working with individuals, couples, teams or whole organizations that the vast majority of challenges or issues to their being happy, staying happy and be capable of spreading happiness, fall into one of five categories: beliefs, particularly self-belief, love, and relationships, achieving and sustaining success, managing change and transition and finding a sense of purpose and fulfillment. This is why Gina has created the five secret pathways in the Thriving Not Surviving Programme, and also detail them in her latest, and supporting, book, ‘Thriving Not Surviving – The Five Secret Pathways To Happiness, Success and Fulfilment.’
