So you landed an interview for that big role you have been eyeing.   Excellent.  How are you going to prepare?  Are you going to play defense and prepare for every question that could be asked or are you going to go on the offense and make sure you are selling what makes you special?  The best way to showcase what you have to offer is through storytelling and painting a picture of your value add.

Congratulations, that big strategy project has finally been approved and funded and now you’re being asked to manage this massive multi-year project.  Man, the pressure is on.  Some are excited about the possibilities, others are skeptic about the ambition, and everyone is having trouble swallowing the price tag!  So how should you handle your first 30 days?

Nobody is perfect.  We all make good and bad decisions.  As leaders it is important that we recognize that our decisions build a reputation.  In order or us to have a reputation of dependability and reliability we need to approach our decisions with decisiveness and the willingness to adjust.  I share with you my thoughts on big decisions, why you should pay attention to the small stuff, and how to approach making bad decisions.

Natural conversation is by far a better way to evaluate a candidate in the interview process.  I share with you my tips on how to use natural conversation to effectively assess a candidate and compare that candidate to the other candidates being interviewed.
