It’s Official; Derry City is the 3rd best team in Ireland. The good news doesn’t end there either because on Friday we learned that Manager Kenny Shiels (and announced before we hit record Josh Daniels) have extended their contracts with the club.

Derry City will next season contest the qualifying rounds of the Europa League for the first time since 2014 following the 2-1 victory over Bohemians at Brandywell Stadium. The next target for the Candystripes is to secure their status at 3rd place, which they can achieve with a victory over the visiting Sligo Rovers, who are looking to finish in the top 5.
