Dan Prosser and Andrew Frankel are joined by Wheelers Dealer frontman Mike Brewer. The car trader turned television presenter created the show more than 20 years ago, and since then it's become the world's biggest and longest running car TV show. On Wheeler Dealers, Mike and his master mechanic buy a desirable old car in need of restoration and rebuild it from top to bottom to try and turn a profit. Across almost 300 episodes, Mike has bought and sold classics, hatchbacks, sports cars, supercars, luxury cars and more, and now he's taking Wheeler Dealers around the world.
In this episode he explains why the show is so popular, as well as talking about his past as a car dealer. He also reveals which cars he has at home, including his collection of old Porsches.

Great Insights & Conversation
The pairing of two motoring journalists with their enthusiasm for good writing and conversation about this great topic make for an always welcome ‘start the week’ podcast.
Lost it lately
Started really well, but unfortunately Frankel started more and more to develop into kind of an angry uncle, moaning and complaining about everything. Can’t listen to it anymore. Early episodes worth listening to though.
Life has taken a turn for the better!
Having only discovered this podcast a few weeks ago, I’ve now started listening to one a day on the way to work. The office is only a mile away, but I tend to walk 3-4 miles instead so it fits with a podcast. Not only have I thereby lost weight (thanks, chaps!), but I’ve been enjoying every minute of every podcasts with Dan and Andrew being utterly fantastic in their knowledge, humour, Britishness and their views on stuff. It genuinely feels like you’re sitting a table in a pub with two good mates.
Only criticism? Weeell, the podcasts could easily be a bit longer. Oh, and the Alpine A110 is not being mentioned enough. Apart from that it is pretty perfect. I’m genuinely a happier man now.
