"Magnificat" by Taylor Davis - Interview and Discussion
Taylor Davis joins Mark Lawson in conversation about his new large work for Christmas entitled, "Magnificat." They are also joined by Matthew Greer of St. John's United Methodist Church in Albuquerque, NM, who commissioned the work, and Barnaby Smith of VOCES8, whose group premiered and recorded the work.
"Magnificat" is a five movement work, featuring choir and multiple accompaniment options, including full and chamber orchestra.
