Episode 14: Frankenstein Palaver: Unraveling Weird Lit

    • Bücher

Spooky season is right around the corner and here at Palaver we wanted to kick it off right with a classic! The story of Frankenstein has been adapted in many different ways, but we are here for the original monster and mad creator himself. No bolts of electricity, creepy sidekicks, or grumbling monsters. We are talking about a dramatic alchemist who is constantly fainting and writing in his diary about his woes and strange experiments! We are talking about a monster (who is NOT called Frankenstein) who just needs some warm hugs, but ends up just strangling a bunch of people! Join us as Jess tells us the flowery and tragic tale of Frankenstein.

Be warned, there will be SPOILERS ahead in this episode. If you would like a spoiler free experience, check out Mary Shelley’s novel Frankestein! Don't forget to come back and join our weird book club once you've finished the story!
