A conversation with Matthew Sweet
"Leading figure of the 1990s power pop revival, with all the raging guitars and aching melodies of past masters like the Beatles and Big Star. "- ALL MUSIC GUIDE
Mike Campbell: "Our special guest today is a singer/songwriter with over twenty albums to his credit and thirty plus years in the business. He is beloved around the world, but I believe nowhere as much as Halifax, because his influence is all over records by bands synonymous with the Halifax scene in the mid 90s. Here’s my chat with the King Of Power Pop himself, Matthew Sweet!"

A conversation with Alejandro Escovedo
Mike Campbell: "My guest today is one of the most respected legends in rock’n’roll and HUFF’s only repeat performer in its 10 year history. He’s played in The Nuns, The True Believers and Rank & File. A record store nerd turned rock star with 16 solo albums to his credit: Alejandro Escovedo!"

A conversation with Matt Mays
Mike Campbell: "Today I’ll be talking to a guy who is right at the top of the East Coast rock’n’roll food chain. Even though he’s won too many East Coast Music Awards to count – as well as the 2014 Juno for Rock Album of the Year – he might very well be most excited to be a member of Matthew Sweet’s Halifax All Star band during HUFF this year. Let’s hear what Matt Mays has to say from Toronto."

A conversation with Catherine MacLellan
Mike Campbell: "My guest on this episode is up in Canada’s impossibly small province, Prince Edward Island. Even though she’s the daughter of the legendary Gene MacLellan, her multiple East Coast Music awards and her Juno award for her album The Raven’s Sun conclusively prove that she’s not in anyone’s shadow. Here’s my conversation with the delightful Catherine MacLellan."

A conversation with Carleton Stone
Today’s guest hails from Cape Breton Island and is one of the three songwriting voices in the super group Port Cities. Not only does he have one of the coolest names in rock’n’roll, he’s also a veteran of our All Star Band concept.

A conversation with Shaun Verreault
Mike Campbell: "I met Shaun Verreault when he was touring Canada for the first time in a little band from Saskatchewan called Wide Mouth Mason. I consider him one of the most talented people I know and can’t make up my mind if he’s a better singer than a guitarist or vice versa. Either way, he’ll always be “the kid” to me."
