An education every time

In all seriousness: If you are a manager, shut down shop for two hours each week, spend one having the team listen to the episode and another hour debating how the issues and insights that Ben and James raise apply to your business. Anyone in a strategy role should be paid to work through the entire series, plus the associated readings. It's like a super dense neutron star of an MBA on your phone.

Smart, insightful, but painful to listen to!

I really want to like you guys. I do! Big fan of Stratechery. Your insights are invaluable (although since I work in the industry and have my own ins, sometimes they are quite off from what’s actually happening). While I like and get the courage needed to make those bold statements. But, there’s just so much ego and aggression in your exchanges that I dread pressing play. Can you guys leave the ego out the door, and get into an adult conversation? @James: Please, please, please stop starting your sentences with “No”.

Surely one of the all-time greatest

I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough, it is truly a pearl!
Ben Thompson and James Allworth deliver very knowledgeable insights into the mobile industry. It is a joy to listen to Ben Thompson analyzing business models, strategies, and tactics with surgical precision and presenting the results with great explanatory skills, while his co-host James jumps in at the right times to add the important societal aspect and post great questions. Both also have a good sense of humor and it is as fun as it is interesting.
If you are at all interested in Apple, Google, Facebook, Tencent and the likes, you cannot do without this.
