Taking back your life, NXIVM, and turning negatives into positives with India Oxenberg

***TRIGGER WARNING SEXUAL ASSAULT & SENSITIVE TOPICS***

On this week's episode of I’m Over It, I sat down with producer, writer, advocate, and survivor of D.O.S & NXIVM, India Oxenberg. You most likely have heard about NXIVM as it’s been in the news quite a lot this past year! You may have even watched a documentary or two. The Vow, an HBO documentary that follows multiple people’s experience trying to get out NXIVM, or Seduced on Starz, which India produced herself.

India also wrote a book titled “Still Learning”, which details her experience before, during, and after NXIVM. “Still Learning” is available on Audible now!

I also highly recommend tuning into Seduced, which is a four-part series narrated by India herself, focusing specifically on stories of the women who were indoctrinated, blackmailed, coerced, and eventually recruited into the sex cult D.O.S., along with their path to healing.

India has bravely come out to tell HER story the way SHE experienced it ~ click here to read her victim impact statement read at Raniere’s recent sentencing (he was sentenced to 120 years)

Inequality in the tech space, how to troll Trump, and being helpful in the world with Alexis Williams

Inequality in the tech space, how to troll Trump, and being helpful in the world with Alexis Williams

On this week's episode of I’m over it I sat down with Alexis Williams, a 19-year-old computer science student at New York University. A little bit more than a month ago, Alexis created PB Resources, an online platform that connects people to BLM focused petitions, organizations, customized emails (which you’ve most likely used in recent weeks to send to your local government officials!), and more. BUT, that’s just one of the MANY things on Alexis’ list of accomplishments. Along with PB Resources, Alexis is also a Koding with Klossy scholar and Microsoft partner.
