Interview with Colin Trumbull, Co-EIC of ISMTE's EON

Hello and welcome to the show! This is the J&J Podcast from J&J Editorial. In this episode we interview Colin Trumbull, the new co-Editor-in-Chief of EON, aka “Editorial Office News.” EON is the member magazine published by ISMTE, which (for those who are not up on all their acronyms) stands for the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors.
Colin has worked at J&J for several years now, and in his time here he has managed editorial projects, developed internal training material for our staff, and is now serving in a newly developed role as our Staffing Resource Manager, which supports our Operations Director with recruiting and onboarding staff as we grow. I’m looking forward to hearing how he will bring all of his past experiences into his new role as co-EIC at EON. With that, let’s get to the interview with Colin.

Peer Review Week 2020 - Interview with Emily Babcock

Happy Peer Review week everyone! We are shaking with excitement to announce the resumption of the J&J Podcast with this special episode featuring J&J's Systems Support Coordinator, Emily Babcock! The theme for this year’s peer review week is Trust in Peer Review, and we all know that Reviewers, and the databases that we use to manage them, are a crucial component in maintaining that trust. So we caught up with Emily to talk about her article which was recently shared by Aries, about peer review in general, and about J&J’s partnership with Aries Systems.
