Rebecca was born in 1990 in New York and now lives in Berlin, Germany. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Journalism from Brandeis University in 2012 and received rabbinic ordination from Yeshivat Maharat in New York in 2019. She has previously worked in media and film production as well as in a variety of Jewish nonprofit spaces. She is Managing Director of Hillel Deutschland, an organization that brings together diverse communities of Jewish students and young adults and focuses on education, empowerment, and community building.
