7 Day Silence & Solitude Challenge


Schedule a time to break your day
Find a quiet place (closet, vehicle, office door shut, etc.)
Take a couple deep breathes while centering your mind on approaching Jesus
If you are utilizing the Pause app, follow along with John Eldredge's prompts to guide your time.
If you are not utilizing the Pause App, say something like, "God you are here, I am just now coming to you. Here is my heart, my worries, my thoughts from my day, I give them to you. God what do you want my mind to dwell? Is there someone in my life that needs to be encouraged today? If so, who is it?"
Consider contemplating Psalm 23 for a few moments 

Sit in quiet and listen to see if God speaks to your inner being, your soul.
Dwell on what He shares with you. 
If He does not speak to you in your time alone in the quiet, thank Him for giving you a space to take a break with His Spirit and pray that this practice will minister to you that day.
If He does speak to you, give Him thanks for that word and then make a plan with the Holy Spirit for whatever He shared with you.

Jesus is radically redefining who is actually blessed, which is the exact opposite of what we would expect, but this is the Kingdom of God. It is counter to everything in contrast to the Kingdom that we reside in here on earth, and Jesus is showing you and I that life in the Kingdom of God from Heaven and good it is despite our circumstances here on earth and how we can walk in and enter and live in the Kingdom life.
