Romance of the Three Kingdoms Podcast John Zhu

It’s often difficult to read through the thick cultural and historical aspects to truly appreciate the meaning and context of titles such as the three kingdoms. However this podcast does an excellent job in explaining the importance of these various points as it would be to be people of the time. Highly recommended.

Der Sprecher hat über Jahre hin weg mehr als 100 Folgen dieses Hörbuch aus produziert. Sie sind extrem unterhaltsam und gemessen am Stoff sehr leicht zugänglich. Jeder der Interesse an der chinesischen Geschichte hat und diesen Klassiker erfahren möchte, ohne dabei dicke Bücher aufschlagen zu müssen, hat ja eine Chance. Man sollte den Podcast eine Chance geben und einige Folgen anhören, bis man sich an den Stil gewöhnt hat. Das gute ist, dass der Sprecher sehr deutlich und langsam spricht.
