Take a trip through the liturgical calendar with comedian/theologian Anna Dominey and her saint obsessed friend/comedian Matthew Chadourne. Every other week this pair of non-believers will go through the life, death and after-life of that day’s obscure saint. In an attempt to understand what it means to be "good".

Blessed Mark Barkworth - 27 February
If they’re one thing we learn from the life of Blessed Mark Barkworth it’s when to get out of England. It’s a lesson he didn’t learn himself but along the way he became a priest and enemy of the state (thanks to the Pope), gets some useless pseudonyms, and a horrible cellmate. Plus, Anna gets a miraculous gift to help with her recovery and Matthew is here.

Saint Edward The Confessor - 5 January
Hey Look at that, we're back again! After a brief hiatus for health reasons were back at it with the life of England's own Saint Edward the Confessor. Sure he was a king but was he much of a saint and also was he king? As far as we can tell he wasn't very invested in his job, had a pretty unsupportive mother, and never figured out that there was even a south of France. Plus, Anna get better and employed and Matthew give a shout out to some lovely words form a saintly fellow on the other side of the globe.

But it turns out this isn’t just tales of fun elves who throw parties in your house while you’re asleep, it also includes slavery, man-eating cats, peeping toms, the patriarchy, and so much more. After subjecting Anna to several end of the world myths, this month Matthew swings in the other direction with the Chinese creation myth of Pangu (probably the coolest dude we've covered since Enkidu). It's got giant eggs, hairy giants, questionable axes and so much more. And at the end we get everything!
