"Humraah" ہمراہ (meaning- companion) is a story set in the narrow lanes of Old Lucknow, India, involving the desparity of Zulaikha, a middle aged devorcee who after the death of her mother had completely lost the desire to live.

Chacha چچا is a colloquial term commonly used to address men of older age. Set in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, this tale involves the mystery and curiousity of a young shopkeeper with regards to a ramp living in their locality.

Set in a village in Kashmir, Pakistan, "Jhelum" is a short story revolving around the life of 19 year old Shagufta and her missing husband, Muhammed Kareem. It is composed in the Urdu language by the prominent Lakhnavi writer and poet, Vaniya Ahuja.

"Abdul", the first project of this initiave involves a short story, set in the 1900's, which revolves around the life of Abdul Akhtar, a باورچی  'Bawarchi', رکابدار 'Rikaabdaar' [cook] in the city of Allahabad, India.
