Believing that Fennec Shand may know the answer, Hunter and Wrecker decide to seek her out, leaving Omega and Crosshair on Pabu. While Fennec knows nothing herself, she refers them to another bounty hunter who might, in exchange for them helping her capture her current target, Sylar Saris.
After an arduous hunt, they bring Sylar Saris down, but Fennec Shand secretly betrays the Bad Batch.
