    UK artist Quarry’s may, in his own words, come from nowhere remarkable but his commitment to music has been lifelong. The songs of his debut EP “Q1” have together garnered over a million global streams and after being listed as an up-and-coming artist to watch in 2021, one can be sure his career in music has only just begun.

    Since the release of her self-titled EP in 2016, award-nominated Swedish artist Rein has continued to challenge the rules of electronic music by mixing genres and staying true to her unique sound. In 2020 she also released her first album “REINCARNATED” under her own record label REIN RECORDINGS. 

    In this episode, she shares the story of why she started her own label, how it often takes her a full year to finish a song and how a Kraftwerk concert was the start of it all.

    Founded in Paris in 2012, the band L’impératrice mixes pop and disco to create their own unique sound. Following the success of their first EPs, the band went on to tour around the world and received the Deezer Adami Fans’ award in 2016. In this episode, founder and keyboard player Charles de Boisseguin and singer Flore Benguigui sit down to discuss how their manager had to be the drummer during a tour of India, how Flore happened to join the band and the (re)making of their second album over Zoom.
