Love your recaps normally and also appreciate every episode that is not about the Bachelor Franchise. But Raven went to far in certain comments. Speaking that way about someone who died is just not okay. You can’t always say that you are more than just a bachelor contestant and have feelings like anyone else; but then talk about someone who passed away like it’s some figure in a tv-show. I like that you, Nick, stay true to your opinion but I did not appreciate the guest this time around.

It has already been extremely annoying during the LI cast interviews to listen to Nick showcase himself as the best and most reflected man there is (while comparing himself to 20somethings) and spending the majority of the interview time to peddle that narrative but the episode with Nicole was so disgusting and creepy. Completely off in the compass of right and wrong. Homophobic and creepy!

Liked the episode partly. As soon as her husband came on, I got super weird vibes. He kept talking and talking. Even over her voice. I got a patronizing and (passive) aggressive/ insecure feeling regarding his person. I dated an abuser and I have a very bad feeling. Let’s hope he is good to her and not some loser who likes to use her status and also her vulnerability. Mark my words (Jan 2024)

ok so i listened to the most insensitive borderline humiliating a caller, he is yelling things at her, what’s the point of this? regardless of whether he is right or wrong, thinking and acting like a therapist can be quite harmful. that’s reckless and who is he to talk to people like this? he doesn’t know their mental health history leading to certain patterns, these callers look up to him and he has a certain power. that was uncomfortable and weird.
