Taking a Breather: Putting Our Podcast on Pause

Taking a Breather: Putting Our Podcast on Pause

It has been a crazy year since we relaunched our podcast show with so many great episodes to go back and listen to!

We wanted to let you know that we are putting the show on pause for a while.

We have so many wonderful things in the pipeline here at Additive-Free Lifestyle HQ and in order to dedicate the amount of time needed to make these the best they can be, something needs to give because there's only so much of us to go around.

We've got our signature program, Additive-Free Made Easy coming back bigger and better than ever soon (gosh we can't to release this because we know it will help soooo many families).  Here's where you can get on the waitlist to be notified when it's released.

We're also focusing on getting our Additive-Free Lifestyle app into as many homes as possible.  This app really is a game changer when shopping for additive-free products.  It literally scans any ingredient label and tells you what's inside, giving you important additive information so that you can make an empowered decision about what goes into your trolley.

The good news is this isn't the last episode, we have one more coming up next week: "Gut Health Simplified – An Episode Everyone Needs to Hear" which we recorded with Clinical Nutritionist, Benedict Freudenmann.  This episode is a must-listen for EVERYONE... so stay tuned because this final one will be EPIC!

For more great additive info, feel free to search the wealth of info on our website, listen to all our past 230 podcast episodes, and all the great info on our socials:

228: Yoga: The Key to Stress-Free Living

228: Yoga: The Key to Stress-Free Living

We talk to John Ogilvie, owner of Byron Yoga Center, who discusses yoga's transformative power and potential for stress-free living.

John Ogilvie is one of Australia’s most respected and experienced teachers and founder of Byron Yoga Centre. His journey started as an electrical contractor where he was struggling with stress.  He tried various things to help de-stress including competitive sport and eventually resorting to self-medicating with drugs and alcohol.  Through his recovery from addiction, he discovered yoga.

For over 45 years, John made yoga a regular practice. He eventually relocated to Byron Bay and opened the Byron Yoga Center. Initially, it was just a small room to run classes in, but with the support of like-minded individuals, it slowly grew into what it is today – a beautiful retreat centre spread across 30 acres.  Trust us when we say that it really is in a magical location.

We take a deep dive into all these things:

How beneficial yoga is for men too!
    Different styles of yoga
The importance of breathing - and not just in yoga
    Breathing techniques
    A morning meditation sequence
    And more!

So pop those headphones on and have a listen.

226: From Surviving to Thriving with Helen Marshall from Primal Alternative

In this episode, we will discuss Primal Alternative, and how Helen Marshall went from surviving to thriving by ditching gluten and eating healthier.

Helen Marshall is a former fitness instructor, a personal coach, and the founder of Primal Alternative, a successful grain free food business model that aims to produce real food and organic ingredients across Australia, New Zealand, UK, and USA.

She also developed phobias and physical symptoms like digestive issues and loss of libido.
