Giannis Antetokounmpo, the NBA's best player, was unfortunately eliminated from the playoffs despite becoming the first player in NBA history to post 200 points, 100 rebounds and 50 assists in a single series-- he accumulated 237 points (for an average of 33.9 per game), 103 rebounds (14.7 per game) and 50 assists for a team that was missing its second All Star, Khris Middleton, who's scoring and perimeter defense surely would have provided the very slight bump Giannis needed to overcome an ultimately fraudulent Boston Celtics team that benefited from lucky shooting and a generous whistle in the closeout game 7 of this classic series, that saw Al Horford very suspiciously post his career high in playoff scoring at the age of at 35. At the present time there is no investigation planned by the league to examine Horford's sudden-- and possibly chemically induced-- rejuvenation.
Ben Detrick joins us to discuss this result, the future of his beloved Sixers, and preview the conference championships. -

Stav gets wildly fucked up and pays the price, Sam thinks “a player that would be good for the knicks” should be part of the criteria used in awards voting. We suck some players off, some players suck us off. It’s a beautiful episode, the playoffs rule.

Good Pod. Nice Pod.
Stumbled upon this little pod a few weeks ago and admittedly was sceptical at first listening to those two oddballs talking ball, but somehow they got me hooked. The fat bald toothless guy is definitely the mastermind of the operation, he really knows his stuff. He is legit funny too, should definitely try his luck at an open mic someday, probably could draw a laugh or two. The handsome guy is sneaky funny too, but he is more your typical armchair analyst, not too much depth. Like the charming but rather dull sidekick. The best thing about this podcast and the chief reason I give it a listen here or there is def the way the fat guy laughs. If an epsisode contains a few sequences of his elongated laughter, I feel like it was worth my time.
