In the Spring Semester of 2017, 15 Yale students decided to make a podcast—after all, the only thing Yale students enjoy more than hearing themselves talk is making the entire Internet hear them talk. The podcast was a class project for English 471, taught by Mark Oppenheimer, but soon became a labor of love that transcended traditional academic activities.

It’s a podcast full of Yale stories. It’s not just about the privileged lives of some elitist undergrads—though you’ll inevitably hear a bit of that. But more than that, it’s full of real, unexpected stories: what it’s like to be poor at Yale, what it’s like to work in a dining hall on campus, and what it’s like to be in a room full of naked people.

Give it a listen and get a taste of this funny school on the Connecticut coast.
