Wacky Snackies Jami Cakes

Join us, as after a full year of traveling through Asia, we say goodbye! Listen to the last of our stories (from this trip!) through the constant tears and farts of Brandon as he has an emotional breakdown from sadness and frustration at having to try his first piece of eel jerky. We’ve got a ton of japanese childhood classic snacks like curry katsu strips, asparagus biscuits, octopus Cheetos, eel jerky, and two mystery packages that might end up being the exact same fucking thing... you’ll have to tune in to find out and hear all of the CRUNCHES! Still in Takehara, relaxing at our friend’s home, eating snacks in his living room while he works hard for the money all day to come home and entertain us!  Crunchy edamame snacks, classic Choco Flakes, a tea cake from the temple, melon pan cookies, pocari sweat, and a fried piece of sardine(?) form the supermarket! Second to last episode on our year long venture through Asia!!

Red bean Popsicle flavored potato chips, peanut snacks Sanz peanuts, homemade plum wine, a bag of the most delicious air, and seaweed candy! All this, plus stories of the smallest town’s Bon Festival. How badly can Jami uncomfortably dance in her yukata surrounded by a group of drunken Japanese men and a Taiko drum? How much beer can Brandon chug constantly given glasses of beer by these same men. Find out! All this, a bunch of crunch-o-meters, stories of our stay with our most favorite couch surfing host and now friend, and ALL OF THE FOOD we’ve eaten in a few days time!

It’s an episode all about chips!! Beef curry ramen golden grams, American style duo flavored potato chips, beef Cheetos, Mexican flavor tortilla chips, spaghetti aglio olio flavored ridges, red bean popsicle grandma flavored thin potato chips, and finally a STRONG ZERO! Don’t worry, none of these flavors made sense to us either! We’re back in Japan, and we’ve immediately hit up the convenient store for all of the confusing brightly colored goods!
