I'd rather die enormous than live dormant that's how we on it
Live at the main event, I bet a trip to Maui on it--Jay Z "Can I Live".
That's pretty much how I feel about life. Freedom over formality is what I say and how I live. That's why I haven't had a boss in close to 10 years, why I started this podcast, and why I don't push my kids to stick with inconsequential activities if that's not what makes them truly happy. 
The Duke and Duchess have recently chosen their own freedom over royal formality recently and I absolutely love it. They're shining a light on the fact that we often make our own happiness or our own unhappiness. The choices aren't always easy, but if they're just--happiness will follow. 

Creativity over certainty. That's my mantra. Certainty does not motivate me. It actually has the opposite effect on me in a lot of ways. I thrive when I can be creative. I don't do well if I already know the outcome--usually low stakes anyway. Boring!
In this episode, I talk about how I've re-imagined the way I run my business and the early indicators of success I'm seeing. Most importantly, I'm doing it with a smile on my face--again!

However you define success, it's likely that your path to get there will not, or has not, been linear. If you're like most humans I know there will be many pitfalls and hurdles along the way.
This is an interview I did with someone who epitomizes what it makes to overcome many obstacles and challenges to get to a certain point in his life. He never makes excuses, he only makes progress, and that's what you'll hear in this interview. 

As 2020 begins it's a good time to start taking the old proverbial chips off the table and get ready to double down on another table. The last decade was all about working hard and taking risk, the next decade will be about de-risking and strategic planning.
