    2BAAM #6 - A Heavy Metal Journey with a Modern Day Aghori

In our latest episode of 2BAAM, Prash and Mugun caught up with the legendary Santiago Dobles from the band Aghora! Santi is the founding member and guitar player of this amazing metal band that has an array of musical talent. Our chat with Santi took us back to the inception of Aghora back in 1995 and their various musical journeys through the years with fabulous albums and concepts. Aghora was one of the first few metal bands to have a female vocalist. They also had legendary musicians like Sean Reinert and Sean Malone as part of their lineup. Their current lineup consists of Santiago Dobles (Guitars), Alan Goldstein (Bass), Matt Thompson (Drums). Santi opens up not only about his music and Aghora but also his martial arts (Pencak Silat) and his spiritual experiences with various forms of yoga and meditation over the years. Interestingly Santi also speaks about how he almost got into the movie industry back in the day and talks about his musical influences. We are very gifted to confab with this legend who in our opinion is the modern day Ascetic with so much knowledge, musical talent and light aura. Be sure to check out Aghora’s music and follow Santiago Dobles in the below links!
