David is an author, podcaster, and the pastor of St. Johns church in N Portland. In 2019, St. Johns church voted to utilize part of their property, in partnership with Do Good Multnomah & the Joint Office of Homeless Services as a tiny house village for the houseless residents in their neighborhood.
That journey has not been easy. There was opposition, people moved, and some disagreed with the decision, but St. Johns Church was committed to using their resources to help the most vulnerable in their community.
