In his own words, I'm a 20 year old asbestos addicted Neanderthal from Upstate New York who has been exploring for about 4 years but has always had a fascination for historical and abandoned properties. I especially find myself enjoying Schools and Power Plants more than most places, but if there's a lot of history it won't matter what the property is. On today's episode, we're chatting with Matt Lambros [afterthefinalcurtain], an architectural photographer based in New England. Matt has followed his passion all over the USA of documenting the decay of America’s abandoned theaters hoping to shed light on these forgotten buildings and the ongoing efforts to repurpose them. He has released three books showcasing his work with forgotten theaters. This episode explores the history and interworkings of theaters over the last century.
