Be the Change Ismail Shaikh

This is a new podcast series where we try to learn and discuss important problems from all around the world and India. In this podcast, I discussed all the important points related to farmers and there problems with my childhood friends Anil & Shiv. We discussed about the possible solutions and tried to understand the Farmers Bill/किसान बिल and its merits/demerits. Intention was to understand and make others aware about the current situation and problems that a common farmer faces in his/her day to day life.

Farming is a remarkable part of the economy in India, as it adds about "17%" of the absolute GDP. It gives employment to over "60%" of the population. Farmers are an important part of the existence of our various societies because they provide food and fiber which gives us nutrition and cloth. Farming is an industry that relies on the natural environment and its careful and responsible use every day.

Cultivation practices often provide natural biologically active filter mechanisms for water as well as soil vegetation stabilization. Indian Farmer and farming communities provide an excellent environment to raise relations.

This is our first episode in the series of "Be the Change..." podcast.

The first episode highlights the rising concern of Global Hunger and gives the overview on the world condition and possible measures which can be implemented in India and all over the world to fight the World Hunger problem.

Anil and Shivratan highlighted causes and effects of Hunger and gave key points and solutions which can be implemented by the policy makers to make a change. State-wise analysis and conditions of different countries were the important highlights of this session also the policies which can prove to be a boon for a developing nation like India.

Achievements of World Food Programme and their contribution in recent years was also a key part of discussion.
